Sunshine Underground is an independent DIY music blog run by Ant Nicolosi, a booking agent and promoter local to the Orlando area.

The reason for this blog's existence arose out of a common trend found in the Florida music scene. Most major cities in the state (and surrounding areas) have robust and flourishing music cultures that are each distinct in important ways. However, there's a severe lack of connectivity between all of these different scenes. Therefore, the goal of this blog is to expose people to new bands and music that they might not have found otherwise.

Another small goal for this blog is to connect bands and artists with each other in an effort to garner collaboration and a sense of community. When you're at a show, there is a sense of place that isn't felt elsewhere and I want that mindset to have a big impression on what this blog is aiming to achieve.
